How does a Silent Sounds system work?
Our systems are simple to set up and use with our plug-and-play technology. You can connect any device i.e. smartphones, DJ equipment, and laptops as your audio source. Our transmitter will send sound wirelessly to the headphones via radio frequency. Our system supports up to 3 channels to play multiple audio sources simultaneously. You can also add microphones if needed.

What is the warranty?
Silent Sounds offers a 1-year warranty on all new equipment. If you have any questions or concerns about replacing faulty equipment or warranties, please get in touch with us.
What is the range and the recharging time?
The range of the headphones is 500m and the recharging time from flat is 2 hours, with 10-12 hours of operation.
Which transmitter should I choose?
We have 2 different models of transmitters. Read through the features below and decide which model would be most suitable for your needs. If you need any more assistance, our team would be more than happy to help.
Portable Transmitter (battery-powered): This transmitter is perfect if you want to use Bluetooth audio music with a microphone, especially in outdoor/remote settings. The portable transmitter has Bluetooth functionality, an internal rechargeable battery perfect for remote locations and a microphone input (ideal for the beach, walking tours, yoga, dance and exercise).
Stationary Transmitter (mains-powered): If you have access to power, this transmitter will produce the best sound quality and performance. Our stationary transmitter is designed to work with any audio playback device, including DJ equipment, smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Can I play music from my phone and talk over the music?
The portable transmitter is a perfect choice since it offers both Bluetooth or cable audio options and has a microphone input for added flexibility.
The stationary transmitter requires mains-power access and you can easily add on a mixer if you want to use a microphone, making it ideal for DJ setups and longer events.
How many transmitters do I need to run 3 simultaneous activities?
You would need 1 transmitter per audio source. Therefore you would need 3 transmitters to create a simultaneous 3-channel experience.
Can I connect my iPhone to the transmitter?
We provide all audio cables needed, but we do not sell the official Apple lightning cables. If you want to connect an iPhone to a transmitter, please ensure that you have a suitable adapter or you can request our Bluetooth transmitter for wireless connectivity.
Can I have my headphones with a custom logo?
All of our headphones come with Silent Sounds branding as standard. However, we can customise them with your logo for an additional cost. Please get in touch with us to discuss further details.
Can I purchase a small order now and add extra headphones and transmitters to my kit in future?
Yes, absolutely. We are here to help you customise packages to meet your specific requirements. Get in touch if you have a special request for headphones or transmitters.
